Supporting you with your needs

We are able to support with, but are not limited to, domestic tasks around the house such as laundry, cleaning, hoovering, waste management and meal preparation.

Sometimes carrying out the shopping is not possible for people. We can provide a shopping visit during which you are welcome to join the carers, promoting independence and choice.

Although the option is given, it’s not essential. The carer can complete a list with you and go and fetch the items. Upon returning they can then support to put the shopping away in the correct places within your home.

Westcountry Home Care can bring activities to you such as baking materials, flower arranging, board games, memory books, newspapers and provide a simple companionship visit. 

If you require different length visits on different days or require someone to attend hospital appointments or get you out and about that is something we are able to help with.

As well as companionship at home, Westcountry Home Care can also help you to access the local community. Whether you need support attending social events, or simply going for a stroll or a trip to the beach, we can assist with getting out and about around Cornwall. 

The flexibility of our packages and staff means we are able to support our clients in all areas of their life.

We can provide accompanied visits to places of work as well as an unobtrusive presence in learning environments to ensure that needing a little bit of extra help, doesn't mean stopping your life from being lived.
