Manager Sally Grimshaw comments:
Our Alexandras Penryn branch opened in April 2018. I started my journey here as a community carer back in 2014. Since then, I have been promoted to Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Manager and recently achieved Registered Manager status of the Penryn office in 2019.
Our branch covers home care in Falmouth and Penryn, as well as surrounding areas such as Mylor, Flushing, Constantine, Perranwell and Mawnan Smith. We offer flexible care packages with visit durations starting at 20 minutes up to 24-hour care. We can provide one or two carers during each visit depending on the level of support you require. We even offer social visits and can accompany you for strolls around the seafront along the beaches such as Swanpool or Gyllingvase, or taking in the beautiful views in and around Falmouth such as the natural harbour of the Fal Estuary.
We enjoy regular team-building events and are currently putting our efforts into giving back to our community by raising funds for a defibrillator to be installed outside of our office. I am very proud of our close-knit team, particularly with their willingness to get involved and work together, always doing so with a smile!
"Staff were respectful and supported people to be as independent as possible."
Homecare.co.uk review for the Penryn team Jan 2021:
"I have been with Alexandras for nearly a year. The service I have received has been excellent. Your staff always presents themselves very well. From helping me dress and wash. food is prepared and light domestic duties. You are all amazing for taking the time to make me feel happy and cared for. Five stars from me." View on homecare.co.uk.

The Falmouth team got together last year for their summer event, taking part in the Escape Rooms.
The Christmas party 2018 was held in style at the Penmorvah Manor Hotel. Plenty of food, drinks, music and dancing!
Congratulations to Helen Newcombe who is the first member of staff to complete End of Life diploma in the this very sensitive and challenging subject matter.
