Four years ago Kyra started in care and now she's a deputy manager.
I studied my level 3 at college and worked as a carer at Alexandra’s part time when I first started in 2017 until I got my degree; afterwards I became a full time staff member.
After settling in I started to take on more complex packages of care and taking the on-call phone a couple of days a week in the evenings and occasionally on the weekends.
When a posting came up for a deputy I applied for it and became successful so alongside working this job role I was enrolled on my level 5 which I am still currently doing.
